How often should shore windows be done?
Every three to four months on or near the beach block. That's what the glass manufacturers put on the sticker, not a number we invented. Inland gets away with twice a year.
Can you get the etching out?
Sometimes. Fresh mineral deposits come off completely. Deposits that have sat for years bond into the surface and leave faint rings that never fully clear. We look before we promise.
How much does it cost?
Per pane, adjusted for height, screens and whether you want the inside done. A three-storey home on pilings with ocean-facing glass is a different job from a duplex two blocks back. Flat number before we book.
Do you work in the off-season?
Yes, and most of our shore work happens then. Empty houses, no rental turnover, easier scheduling.
What if the water's shut off?
Tell us when you book. If the house is winterised we'll work out access to a tap or bring water. Normal question down here, not a problem.
Will you scratch the glass?
Not the way we work. The real risk is the sand that comes in with the salt spray. Everything gets flooded and rinsed before anything touches it, which is why we don't dry-wipe shore glass.
What areas do you cover?
All of Downbeach and Absecon Island — Margate, Ventnor, Longport, Brigantine and Atlantic City. Ocean City and the mainland on request.
